Monday, Monday: Super Bowl, Heroin Ads, and Tiger’s 82

The Super Bowl is the amatuer night of sports watching.  I’m stealing this quote from a friend: “its the New Year’s Eve of sporting events.”  However, a lot happen last night, especially in the fourth quarter.  I’m not going to bore you with Super Bowl remixes and analysis; but I will say, if you are going to pass in that situation you better complete that pass 100%  of the time.  The outside receiver ran a shitty route.  He didn’t sell the fade enough to give the “pick” enough of chance to materialize and Malcom Butler made a great break.  Malcom Butler should have won the MVP.  That was a big time play.

This life

I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and hear it in my head. I wish I knew how I ended up here. Life was much simpler when the kids were little. Now here we are, 24 years later trying to put our lives back together. How do we even begin to heal from losing our son? He was my heart, my love. And now he’s gone. And left behind 3 sisters and 2 brothers to try and continue living. It isn’t fair.
